By day I’m a mom and marketing director, and by night I’m usually in the kitchen covered in flour and sugar. If you email or DM me, odds are you’ll hear back around 10pm once my son is asleep and the cakes are cooling.
I’ve always had some kind of side project, but baking has always been there and the one that feels like home. I’m originally from Mississippi, where I learned that every good party needs a centerpiece, and the best ones are always made from sugar.
Sucray is my way of baking cakes that feel personal, a little chic, and always worth gathering around. The name is a nod to sucre — sugar in French — and a playful twist on my last name, Ray.
